Kia awards a 2011 Soul to the winner of the Facebook Grad Contest

THORNHILL) July 22, 2011 – Kia Canada Inc. presented the keys to a brand-new 2011 Kia Soul 4u to the winner of the Facebook “Like it and Win it” contest. Among thousands of entrants, Ella Pomeransky of Maple, ON, was the lucky recipient to have her name drawn to win the vehicle. 

Kia promoted the “Like it and Win it” Facebook contest to help build awareness of the $500 “Ride On” graduate rebate program. The contest was advertised on 15 post-secondary campuses across Canada. The contest was also open to anyone who visited Kia Canada’s Facebook page and clicked on the “Like” button. Additional entries were awarded to individuals who referred the Kia Canada page to friends.

Ms. Pomeransky was congratulated by family, friends, Kia Canada Inc., and associates of Plaza Kia of Thornhill, where she received the keys and drove away in her new Kia Soul.

Kia’s “Ride On” graduate rebate program offers a $500 savings towards the purchase of a new Kia vehicle. The offer is available to all Canadians who have graduated from a minimum two year post-secondary education program within the last two years.[
