Franczak joins to provide link to car racing

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- The Canadian Karting League (CKL) is pleased to announce that Franczak Enterprises Ltd has signed on as a major sponsor of the CKL. Franczak will provide the opportunity for 10 CKL drivers to test a Vallis Motor Sport FV1200 this fall. In, addition, Franczak will provide a full season of FV1200 racing with Vallis Motor Sport in 2012 to a CKL member from the 2011 season.

"I would say I'm very excited about the extremely generous sponsorship from Chris Bye and Franczak," CKL owner Russ Bond said. "But shocked is a closer word! What Franczak and Chris Bye are doing for our Arrive and Drive members is unheard of in the karting world. We are extremely excited about the opportunity for one of them to go FV racing with a quality team like Vallis Motor Sport."

The sponsorship opportunity was hatched when Franczak owner Chris Bye approached Bond with a sponsorship idea. From there the idea was developed, and the end result both sides are very happy with.

"I am very pleased to be able to support young Canadian racers at this level," Chris Bye said. "I began racing Formula Vees a very long time ago and Bill Vallis was the guy to beat back then, and today, Vallis Motor Sport is still the team to beat. Racing has been a huge part of my life and it eventually led me into a successful business which allows me to spend my days with cars and car people. I look forward to watching kids compete for what is a very exciting opportunity for 2012", Chris Bye, Franczak President added.
